self admitted welfare cheat star parker doesnt stand a chance.
Hmm…let’s see:
Rep . Richardson: A person who, since her election to City Council in 2000 has become an aggressive political climber and career politician who has done little more while in public office than help to grow government (at all levels) and over-spend and otherwise squander public funds
-or-
Star Parker: A person who has experienced and overcome some of the greatest personal challenges an adult in our society can face, who made the sacrifices necessary to earn a quality post-secondary education, and who now desires to be elected to Congress to help us make some long-delayed and much-needed changes in Washington.
The choice, at least for me, is crystal clear.
I like my welfare cheaters to be up front about it rather than trying to cover their theft with smoke and mirrors.
Richardson had her chance, and failed miserably ~ what can we really lose by electing Parker to office?
I think it is ironic that a person who benefited so greatly from government social programs– the very ones that made it possible for her to “pull herself up by the bootstraps” –would eliminate them for others.
Hi Jeanine! I disagree with your premise that Ms. Parker desires to “eliminate” all government social programs,
Like most political conservatives, I think Ms. Parker simply believes that the government social programs we have are horribly inefficient, ineffective and far too costly, I think Ms. Parker simply believes that we can do far better in this area than we are currently doing and that if we re-vamp these programs we can help more people, more effectively and at far less cost than we are today.
Rep. Richardson, on the other hand, simply desires to continue throwing ever more public funds into social programs that, over time, have not proved to be nearly as effective as they might otherwise have been,
We can do better by those less fortunate than ourselves. Ms. Parker argues for effective and constructive change in this area of public policy. while Rep. Richardson simply argues for more of the same.
“The choice, at least for me, is crystal clear.”
you’ll vote for the self admitted criminal because she’s GOP.
