BUST BUSTED? JUNE MEDPOT RAID BY LBPD CAPTURED ON VIDEO
By Greggory MooreLONG BEACH — In yet another layer of controversy for Long Beach’s battle over the city’s medical marijuana dispensaries, a video posted on YouTube this week reportedly shows Long Beach Police Officers using excessive force while raiding a local dispensary.
The raid occurred June 19 at the THC Downtown Collective, an example of what LPBD Chief Jim McDonnell calls “rogue” collectives, or dispensaries operating without the benefit of the temporary exemptions.
The video shows an unidentified LBPD officer stepping on the neck of a compliant collective-management member, who is lying facing down as per police instructions.

NEW Long Beach Police brutality lawsuit from when a “young African-American with no prior arrests or convictions on his record, could be seen in security footage lying on the ground posing no visible threat when an officer steps on his back and neck.”

You can only guess how many people impacted and brutalized in this case will no longer ever trust police officers. Long Beach police are doing their damnest to alienate each and everyone not in their tightly knit circle.
Another case of taxpayer’s money being spent to cover up for police misconduct. Meanwhile, NOTHING ever happens to the offending police officers, except to be promoted for their heroism.
