BLAH-BLAH-BLAH, MARIO GUERRA RUNNING FOR RE-ELECTION IN DOWNEY, YADDA-YADDA-YADDA

Downey’s chatterboxing city councilman, Mario Guerra, says he wants another term. Of course, Guerra doesn’t put it so succinctly as that. This guy’s got a mouth, and he likes to shoot it off.
Guerra’s the guy who told me last Nov. 23 that Tesla Motors had selected Downey as the site of its manufacturing plant, and that there would be an official announcement right after Thanksgiving. Still waiting.
Guess I should have talked to my buddy Steve Lowery before going with that one. Guerra is a deacon at Lowery’s former parish of St. Raymond’s, where Lowery says he once witnessed a priest shush Guerra during Mass. ’Course, Steve’s a bit of a chatterbox, too.
Anyway, Guerra wants a second term, Sen. Alan Lowenthal and Supervisor Don Knabe are among those who want him to have it, and Eric Pierce of The Downey Patriot has the story and a short but fascinating profile of this political motormouth.

Traders Joes not white enough ! What kind of comment was that sir ? You should no better than that. Perhaps Miami is too Cuban !
I was in Cerritos Trader Joes yesterday with my white wife and my white self. Guess what, there were a few other whites in there and the rest, God knows, and who really cares. I did strike up a conversation with a very nice woman of decent from India but we chatted about life in general.
Think before yopu open your mouth in the positioin that you hold.
If I stated Downey is “too Mexican” that would be taken many ways. However comning from white me it would be taken in a negative manner. Who really gives a crap anyway ? Get out of the stone age and lead by example. Downey has too many shootings of people without guns ! Now there is something you could work on.
