DELONG CONGRESSIONAL CAMPAIGN HAS 100K, CITY AUDITOR ENDORSEMENT

Councilman Gary DeLong, an announced candidate for the newly drawn congressional district of LB and western Orange County, has announced that his campaign has raised more than $100,000.
In a release, Congressional-candidate DeLong calls it a “significant milestone” and states, “I am truly grateful for all the support I have received, and I am encouraged by the enthusiasm and positive response I continue to hear from supporters. They know the 2012 Election is vital for our country’s future and that to restore America we must focus on job creation and reducing our debt, which is why I’m running for congress.”
(The DeLong campaign didn’t release details on who its contributors are to date.)
The DeLong campaign also announced that Long Beach City Auditor Laura Doud has endorsed his candidacy. In its release, Doud said, “I have witnessed Gary’s actions as chairman of Long Beach’s Budget Oversight Committee and I have no doubt he will maintain the same fiscally responsible approach in Washington as he does in Long Beach.”

Our excellent and award winning City Auditor is extremely well-respected in government circles. Ms. Doud’s endorsement of Mr. DeLong should be very significant for voters.
Why am I NOT surprised DeLong is already reporting he has over $100,000 in his campaign war chest.
This is the same big money scare tactic Mayor Foster used when he released to the media that he had raised over $150,000 for his Mayoral election campaign and $200,000 for his re-election campaign to scare away any challengers.

What will be interesting is comparing how many of the same people and unions contributed to both Bob Fosters Democrat campaign and DeLong’s republican campaign.

Comes now this perspective from a life long Long Republican(who should
have voted for Bush’s mother in his second run): regarding those that would
support.what clearly has to be the worst Council person the Third District
has seen in living memory.

Re Build Plan-rooted in deception,fraud and malfeaance-which
unfolded under his eyes–deemed red flagged by the City Auditor(which
calls into question her reported support of the dubious Council person)/
3.The unchecked,out of control bar situation on Second Street-which
De Long ignored for 5 plus years.
4.The Home Deport debacle.-put into sharp perspective by the ruling of
the Superior Court.
5.The signals he sent and tone set leading to the 2H Loynes/Studebaker
debacle,
6. The 8 years of missing revenues from the NYC lease-visa a via
cut backs in LBFD and other Tidelands aspects.
8.The four years of missing revenues from his,non coastal dependent
Wednesday Flea Market,slipped in on a fraudulent basis .

Indeed–from the eastern end-to the District’s western end-we have
seen but a trail of disasters and the dubious on the De Long watch.
What then should the GOP do? RED TEAM the issue of selecting a
canidate Think for moment:Think like adults.What if we would have
been fortunate enough to have De Long on that fateful ski trip flight
a few months ago?
FLASH NEWS POINT ON MARINA GATE!!! But a few days,ago, a 30
year,reliable.solid citizen,stakeholder in Alamitos Bay,who lives within
walking distance of Basin Four,went into the Marine Bureau Office
to put his name on the waiting list for Basin Four.Said individual was
reportedly told: by the Marine Bureau:
l.DO NOT BOTHER!!!
2.YOU WILL NEVER GET A SLIP IN BASIN FOUR!!!!
Asking why-he was told.LBYC told all its members,even those that did
not have a boat.to put their names of the waiting list/This LBYC
(both DNA challenged De Long and Foster are members of the restricted
LBYC.
Said impacted waters belong to THE PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES-
and may not be confiscated OR HOARDED. Indeed,at this very moment
the cash strapped State of California is reviewing its pending funding for
the re build in chief.

Council person the Third District has seen in living memory needs
to embarrass itself no further.Develop some SELF RESPECT!!!!!

l.So lacking in the requisite DNA he was;rejected in the LBUSD
race;a 11th hour choice elected as the best of a bad lot in his
first Council Race;winning the re election only because he out
spent the others.His supporters justification–he is the best person
on the Council.(That is certainly not saying much!!!!)
2.The Home Depot debacle.
3.The PCH/ debacle
4.The circa 6 year unchecked 2nd Street/Belmont Shore Bar debacle.
5.The 90 million plus Marina Gate-aka Alamitos Bay Re Build Plan
red flagged as unbondable by the City Auditor(which puts into question
her endorsement).
6.The missing 8 years of revenue from the NYC Lease while laying off
and cutting back staff and programs in Tidelands.
7.The 4+ years of missing revenues from De Long’s Wednesday
non coastal dependent Flea Market which was fraudulently slipped
in as a Farmer’s Market.
8.The accelerated deterioration and increased crime in Bixby Park-
at the District’s western end-to Home Deport/ 2H/Loynes/Studebaker
at the District Eastern end=De Long has been a disaster/
9.His new fellow traveler is the CARPET BAGGER IN CHIEF,the
equally disconnected Mayor Foster.
What then should the GOP do. Start thinking like the addle minded.

Think for a moment.What if we were to have been fortunate enough
to have Gary De Long on that fateful ski trip plane crash a few months
ago? Who would the GOP turn to???

an endorsment for De Long.Indeed,all but the addle and near addel
minded,recognize what a true disaster De Lomg has been.Their

GRATERER THREAT—–ie–the Lowenthall mindset et al.
However,their adoption of said mindeet is really sophmoric.In reallity
were Lowenthall to be elected his damage could be contained vis a via
the pending end to the Oprah/Obama mindset–which we will see
in November 20012–and finally expunged with Obama’s ouster two
years later.
With that in mind the GOP should,as sated earlier”RED TEAM, the
issue and consider others inclduing,but noit limited to:
l.Jeff Kellogg-experienced,wit deep-deep roots in the Community and
the rewuiste DNA.
2.Given the imparatives of stabalizing amd bring order to the banking
and financuial structure-consider:

If need be,and if the law allows,allow De Long to keep what ever he has
raised,if he would put the interst of the City above his own-and do a Dan
Baker et al an just walk away—and walk away now before he does further\
damage.

However the article states that his campaign has yet to release details on who his big contributors are. When can we expect these details???
I can make an educated guess on the top twenty!! Will Mr. DeLong
come clean on his wealthy pals prior to Second +PCH project going to the Planning Commission? Bets?
