EX-7TH DISTRICT AIDE RELOCATES TO 4TH DISTRICT, WILL RUN FOR CITY COUNCIL
By Greater Long Beach
Herlinda Chico, once an aide to former 7th District City Council member Tonia Reyes Uranga, moved into the 4th District within the past year and on Thursday made it clear she wants to represent that area on the Long Beach City Council.
Chico will face longtime Los Altos neighborhood advocate Daryl Supernaw and retired Long Beach Police Department officer John Watkins, who is a self-described “Tea Party” supporter.
Council member Patrick O’Donnell is approaching the end of two terms as 4th District Council member, and has already announced his intention to run for a seat in the California Assembly—against 5th District City Council member Gerrie Schipske, who only last year won re-election to her second term.

OK so she moves into the 4th in January and 9 months later she “announces” she is qualified to represent the people??? She is a carpet bagger!!
She has done nothing for the 4th District!!!

I want someone to represent me who has lived in the district a long time and been active in the community, nine months is not long enough to know and understand the neighborhoods and issues
