POLLING FIRM HIRED BY ALAN LOWENTHAL REPORTS THAT HE IS DOING GREAT
By LBReport.com
A memo addressed to unnamed “interested parties” from Goodwin Simon Strategic Research—a firm working with the Alan Lowenthal Congressional campaign—says its voter telephone survey indicates state Senator Lowenthal “has a wide lead over possible Democratic challenger [former state Senator] Joe Dunn among both Democratis and DTS [decline to state] voters” and “Lowenthal does far better than Dunn when matched up against likely Republican candidates Steve Kuykendall and Gary DeLong.”
The memo indicates the telephone survey was conducted between October 11 and October 15, 2011 by. “We completed interviews with 500 likely June, 2012 voters living in the newly drawn 47th Congressional district.”
The memo’s reference to a possible candidacy by former state Senator Joe Dunn (a Democrat who represented central Orange County from late 1998-late 2006) is an oblique acknowledgment of speculation that Dunn might enter the race.
So far, Lowenthal is the only announced Democrat in the race to represent the Long Beach-Orange County district, which has drawn three Republicans: Long Beach City Council member Gary DeLong, former Congressman Steve Kuykendall and Los Alamitos Council member Troy Edgar.

Concerning the title of the article: Boy I certainly hope so. If it didn’t, Lowenthal should hire another firm. Funny how some who complain about monetary influence in conservative politics don’t seem to mind the clear influence money has in liberal politics.
i think any reasonably intelligent person realizes the pernicious influence money has on both parties.
Another media poll NOT paid for by Alan Lowenthal is currently being conducted and is asking: “Who would you vote for in the upcoming 47th Congressional District?”
The following are the results after 212 participants:
13.7% – California Senator Alan Lowenthal
7.5% – Long Beach 3rd District Councilmember Gary DeLong
78.8% – Former U.S. Congressman Steven Kuykendall

Some over arching reflections on the pending races:
l.There is the specter that we could realize the growing desire of increasing
numbers that–all things Lowenthall -would simply disappear from public
stage(visa a via;Bonnie facing a serious a serious challenge;Suja wil be
termed out) should Alan not win.
2.While Kuydendall is certainly the best canidate by far-as most reasoned minds know–Alan’s negatives could be counter balanced, kept in check by
overall national Republican ground swell we we will see in 2012-2014-as the
Ophra,Obama,Pelosi,Reed Fifth Columnist erra comes to the end.Unlike De Long, Alan does have the requiste DNA to be a public servant/ He just needs to be kept in check.
3.Steve Cooey’s sage decision to distance himself from the corrupt within
Long Beach speaks volumes and offers an insight into what shoud be
unfolding in the not to distant future.
“kept in check by
overall national Republican ground swell we we will see in 2012-2014-as the
Ophra,Obama,Pelosi,Reed Fifth Columnist erra comes to the end”
care to wager on that? youre consistent anyways, consistently clueless.
Alas,we see Howard X is still on his Fruit Loop High.Point in for the most
part-my views have proven to me pretty much on the mark.
In the instant case of the new Congressional District—-the unknown factor is:
whether or not those who have turned to the disconnected De Long( for the most part-good and decent people all) out of frustration —-will muster enough
self respect and vote for Kuydendall.–who they all recognize is the better
person.
….Indeed, tis not unlike dealing with the International stage as it were
Often times, though people are not enthralled about doing so – they find
themselves elves having to back turkeys-they would, under ordinary circumstances they would not support.
The rejection of the disconnected De Long–at the most basic, seminal level–
a school district race–speaks volumes.Peek back the layers of special
interest money–then see then see the true feelings of John Q public.
humor me for a moment and explain what you think “Ophra” (sic) has to do with what you call a “Fifth Columnist erra” (sic)
Laurence, does your family know you’re off your meds again?
What a laugh–this is the same outfit, (Goodwin Simon Strategic Research) that did a poll on Second +PCH in which Second + PCH said there was 70% approval of the project! Later–during the Planning Commission –it was shown that 74% of those polled had never heard of Second +PCH!! I don’t think DeLong has anything to worry about–at least at this point– with the fraudulent polls!
PS WHY would anyone vote for Republican Liberal Steven Kuyendall,
(see his record on Social Security) when we have a liberal Democrat
running–who is actually right of Kuyendall?
