CLINTON TO ENDORSE LOWENTHAL, CALIF. DEMOCRATS AT UCI RALLY
By LBReport.comFormer President Bill Clinton is scheduled to endorse congressional candidate Alan Lowenthal along with a number of other California congressional candidates.
A rally with the former President is scheduled tomorrow at 5 p.m. at UC Irvine’s Bren Events Center for Democratic Congressional candidates Alan Lowenthal (LB-west OC), Julia Brownley (Ventura), Gary Peters (San Diego), Raul Ruiz (Palm Springs) and Mark Takano (Riverside).
In the most recent data from the California Secretary of State’s office, the newly drawn 47th Congressional district (LB-west OC) has a voter registration of 42.2% Dem, 30.68% Repub, and 20.61% with no party preference.
In related news, the Lowenthal campaign is also offering transportation to the event via chartered buses for a fee that benefits the Lowenthal campaign ($100 for Guests, $50 for Student Guests; $50 for Volunteers; and $25 for Student Volunteers). Volunteers must sign up for six hours of Get Out the Vote shifts. Tickets come with a lunch box; meet up is at 3:00 p.m. at 5955 E.
