PETA GIRLS: TOO MUCH TITILLATION AND NOT ENOUGH … WELL, YOU KNOW
By Jeanine Birong
I love a good demonstration for a good cause, so the announcement that a couple of PETA girls—that is, female members of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals—were going to shower together on the Belmont Shore corner of Nieto Avenue and Second Street in observation of Water Awareness Day … well, let’s just say it came to me as a call to action. Yeah, action.
So I strapped on my vegan high heels and headed on down, approaching what I guessed was about to become Belmont Shore’s new Horny Corner with great excitement and anticipation. But as I got closer, I heard the voices of men in the crowd, and they didn’t sound titillated.
“That’s it?” one shouted, sounding betrayed.
“You guys suck!” brayed another.
And another, at least trying to be clever, quipped, “I hope the light changes soon, or we’ll miss it!”
When I arrived, I understood the guys’ disappointment … because it matched my own: Turns out, the girls—Meggan Anderson and Hayden Hamilton—had a shower curtain.

Meat is murder….tasty, tasty murder…
Interesting that opposite the PETA story there was a colorful ad for dineLB.com showing a nice steak dinner.
wow…what about the cost to the environment with all that plastic and vinyl they were using today? (Bottled water?!)
Seems like oil consumption is raping our planet too.
Very observant, Alex Chalmers—I’m sure the dineLB people, if not the PETA girls, appreciate it!
And people complain about freedom of speech…
…ViewSonic time!! oH YEEAAH!
