LECOURS HQ HEAD TO LEAD PBS SOCAL ELECTION COVERAGE

Lecours is a Signal Hill Tribune staff writer, political moderator and founder of LECOURS HQ, and the mind behind the Michelle Lecours Show. PBS SoCal this week named her as its senior interactive editor for the station’s 2012 online production “Checked and Balanced,” scheduled to launch mid-August.
The program focuses on Long Beach politics and election news with plans to expand coverage into the Greater Los Angeles area. Envisioned as a “central online hub” for this year’s election coverage, readers can expect active reportage of local elections, political analyses and commentary, informal and formal polling, and community voter and political party events.
