A lifelong resident of Long Beach’s downtown area, Danielle is brimming with expertise and perspective on the heart of her hometown. Drawn to journalism by its potential for changing thinking through sharing ideas, Danielle is a member of the Long Beach City College student newspaper, the Viking, where she has distinguished herself on the opinion pages. Her opinion of Long Beach? “It’s a beautiful city, where there is always something to do---never really a dull moment,” says Danielle. “I’d like to see more awareness of its beauty.”
