Removing the black plastic to discover completely bare dirt—not a single weed---and the “tabula risa” of our new front yard is somehow very satisfying. The goal is to get our new ground cover to grow in before any weeds take hold. We charge out to buy plants and shortly after our return ... our yard looks like a yard again!
